  • Back-end services and APIs

    Java and Spring Boot, REST APIs, PostgreSQL, messaging on Kafka and RabbitMQ, deployed with Docker and Kubernetes on AWS or GCP.

  • Integration and process automation

    Connecting systems that were not built to talk to each other. Business processes as BPMN workflows on Camunda.

  • Legacy code

    Working safely in an existing codebase: characterisation tests first, then refactoring, framework and Java upgrades, and extracting services.

  • Code quality

    Pull request review, unit and end-to-end tests, CI with static analysis and dependency scanning.
